This is to ensure that you will receive the most optimal results.

How would I start using retinol safely and effectively?

Retinol is a vitamin A derivative and antioxidant that increases cell turnover and strengthens skin, which improves tone and texture. Retinol minimises the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation. There are many ‘types’ of retinol on the market so pay attention to the concentration of retinol as it does come in various strengths. Of course, the stronger the retinol, the higher likelihood (especially if you have sensitive skin) that your skin will become red and irritated.

The microencapsulated retinol found in all AlumierMD’ s Retinol Resurfacing Serums allows for a slow release into the skin, minimising irritation, and maximising effectiveness. Do not use retinols if you are pregnant, lactating or planning to become pregnant. Use AlumierMD sunscreen during the day and limit sun exposure while using retinol products, and for a week following discontinuation.

Will AlumierMD Resurfacing Peels cause unsightly redness and peeling
